a little about us
Far East Joint is an original ‘fries & wing house’ with an Asian fusion twist mixing new American and Korean style flavors. Their menu includes a wide range of specialty fries, wings, rice bowls and burgers, featuring their signature Sweet Chili Wings, Joint Fries, and Spicy Tuna Nachos.
For every meal purchased, Far East Joint donates a portion of the proceeds to the Han-Schneider International Children’s Foundation (HSICF). HSICF is a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve the world’s most destitute children by establishing the necessary infrastructure that will enable an ongoing supply of food, medicine, and clothing.
HSICF was founded by Arthur Han’s late father, Sang Man (Sam) Han, who was once an impoverished orphan in Korea. Arthur Han, Far East Joint owner, is continuing his father’s legacy serving as the Executive Director of HSICF since 2012.
“We are excited to introduce Far East Joint to the Los Angeles dining scene,” said Arthur Han. “We created the concept to serve delicious comfort food while bringing hope to a child in need. Every time you purchase a meal at our restaurant, you buy a meal for one of the kids we serve in Cambodia, North Korea, and Tanzania – Meal for Meal.”
